Chennai, India March 8 th , 2017: Wsquare, an exclusive workplace for women will be launched today on account of Global Women’s day. The main aim behind Wsquare is to create a safe co-working ecosystem that answers all the issues faced by women when they dream of a career-oriented future. The first centre will be opened at Adyar, Chennai.

Founded by Jinal Patel and Vandhana Ramanathan, who also own a digital marketing agency “Let’s SOS” from 2015, WSquare was ideated with the intention to bring women back to work.

Vandhana, being a mother of two children herself, understood the difficulties of effectively maintaining a work-life balance. Although Work from Home and Flexi-timings in companies helped women maintain a work-life balance, it still did not answer the main reason of why more than 82% of women quit their jobs and prefer to be home-makers.

This in fact led to the idea behind WSquare, a collaborative shared working space, where members benefit from a home away from home environment with facilities ranging from Wi-Fi, 24/7 security, power back-up, yoga sessions, doc-on- call, food delivery, spa treatments & more. WSquare provides exclusive concierge services that serves a mundane job of every women ranging from grocery shopping, vegetable & fruits delivery, beauty services etc. Women need energy, design, and support to create their business and a community to build and share their ideas and hindrances. WSquare opens doors to opportunities that help in networking with other like-minded women through curated events, seminars, mentorship programs, workshops & more.

With another center in Mumbai and soon to be opened centers in Anna Nagar, Velachery and T.Nagar, WSquare strives to build a co-working eco-system where working women can work near home, with facilities provided for a safe environment. Wsquare is also on talks with Corporate and IT companies to open up centres near residential areas, where women can work after their maternity leave. WSquare was also started with the passion to empower the startup community with more shepreneurs who will make a difference.

Jinal Patel, Co-Founder and COO said, “If you're becoming a far too familiar face at your local coffee shop, or your living room couch isn't primed for top productivity, it may be time to take the plunge. Embracing your status in the startup community and reaching out to other women doers can make a transition to a co-working space the most powerful growth-hack out there. This was the main idea behind launching Wsquare.”

Vandhana Ramanathan, Co-Founder and CEO said, “While working from home may seem to be the ultimate dream for some, especially after a maternity leave, meshing work and personal life will take your productivity only so far. With a co-working eco-system, you still maintain all of the control and flexibility of owning your own schedule, but you also get the built-in structure of an office. Added to this, is our personalized services that ensures working women can go home care-free. With our first few centres in Chennai, we look at expanding to other cities like Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad and Mumbai in the next year and half.”
